Ingredients and Allergen Labeling
The product description lists the ingredients and allergen information for each flavor. The table below organizes them as stated (viewed October 8, 2026).
| Flavor | Ingredients (as stated in the product description) | Allergen Labeling |
|---|---|---|
| Gomoku | Glutinous rice (domestic), non-glutinous rice (domestic), seasoned dried ingredients (edible vegetable oil and fat, soy sauce, sugar, dried carrot, fried tofu, dried burdock root, dried shiitake mushroom, konjac, salt) / sorbitol, seasoning (amino acids), antioxidant (vitamin E) | Contains wheat and soybeans |
| Konbu | Non-glutinous rice (domestic), salted kelp (protein hydrolysate, kelp, salt) / seasoning (amino acids, etc.), sweeteners (sorbitol, licorice), caramel color, thickening polysaccharides | We could not find any listed specified allergens |
| Salmon | Non-glutinous rice (domestic), seasoned dried ingredients (salmon, salt, reduced starch syrup) / seasoning (amino acids), trehalose, monascus color, antioxidant (vitamin E) | Contains salmon |
| Wakame | Non-glutinous rice (domestic), seasoned dried ingredients (salt, wakame seaweed, sugar, kelp extract, starch, scallop extract) / seasoning (amino acids) | We could not find any listed specified allergens |
The allergen information field in the product description lists wheat and soybeans (Gomoku) and salmon (Salmon), which matches the per-flavor listings. Note that the Konbu ingredient field contains one extra bracket-like character without a closing bracket. The Konbu row in the table is transcribed without that character.
A note in the product description states that, for Gomoku Okowa and Salmon, products containing shrimp, crab, milk ingredients, beef, salmon, chicken, pork, matsutake mushroom, and gelatin are packaged in the same manufacturing process. The note says “Gomoku Okowa,” and we could not confirm from the product page whether it refers to the same item as Gomoku. We have not cross-checked with the Onishi Foods official website, so what the official website states is not confirmed. If you have allergies, be sure to check the food label on the product you receive.
