Ingredients and Allergen Labeling
The manufacturer’s official website lists the ingredients as sweet potato (from Kagoshima Prefecture) and rice koji (domestic rice). We could not find an ingredient name field on the Rakuten Ichiba product page, and no allergen labeling was found on either Rakuten Ichiba or the official website, so allergen labeling is not confirmed.
The descriptions of the raw materials do not match in some points. The Rakuten Ichiba seller’s description states that the sweet potato variety is 黄金千貫 (Koganesengan) and that the brewing water is natural water that springs from underground in the volcanic ash soil (Shirasu Plateau) characteristic of Kagoshima Prefecture. On the other hand, the manufacturer’s official website states that the water used for dilution (warimizu) is subterranean flow water from Mt. 冠岳, and we could not find a description of the sweet potato variety.
