Suitable as a Gift?
On the product page, the noshi is described as being prepared as a strip-style noshi (tanzaku noshi) rather than a wrap-around noshi. You choose one of the strip-style noshi (10 types in all) or the message stickers (6 types in all) on the shopping cart screen, and the page says that the types available differ by season for both. In the guide images, we can see these inscriptions for the strip-style noshi: 出産内祝 (return gift for a birth), 御礼 (thanks), 御祝 (celebration), 御見舞 (get-well or sympathy gift) and 内祝 (return gift); and these for the message stickers: ありがとう (thank you), おめでとう (congratulations), お大事に (get well soon), 結婚おめでとう (congratulations on your marriage), お誕生日おめでとう (happy birthday) and 出産おめでとう (congratulations on the birth).
